Every wall that isn't a whole-tile multiple wastes the offcut. 10% covers a simple rectangular room.
15–20% for diagonal & herringbone
Angled and interlocking patterns cut more tile per square foot — and the offcuts rarely reuse.
Keep a box
Dye lots change. A spare box from the original lot is the only reliable repair tile you'll ever get.
