How to make a mood board for your kitchen or bath

A mood board is one page that shows how a room should feel: the colors, materials, fixtures and inspiration photos, side by side. It turns "I will know it when I see it" into something you can actually see. Here is how to make one in about 20 minutes with our free mood board maker.

1. Collect inspiration

Browse the inspiration gallery and tap the heart on every photo that makes you stop scrolling. Do not overthink it. After 20 or 30 saves, patterns appear: maybe every photo has warm wood, or green tile, or brass.

2. Pick three to five colors

3. Add real products
