Flooring, with the subfloor in the number
Old floors are rarely flat and old subfloors are rarely sound. We price the prep up front, so the quote is the price, not the starting point.
Five ways to floor a room
Solid hardwood
Site-finished or prefinished oak, maple and hickory, sandable for decades.
Engineered wood
Real wood veneer on a stable core, better over slab, radiant and basements.
Luxury vinyl plank
Waterproof, quiet, pet-proof, the right call for mudrooms, kitchens and rentals.
Bamboo & GeoWood
CALI's Fossilized bamboo is dense and hard; GeoWood adds a waterproof core.
Large-format porcelain
Wood-look or stone-look plank tile where a real wet floor needs to last.
CALI: waterproof, sustainable, DIY-tough
We carry CALI flooring across the line: Longboards luxury vinyl (named Better Homes & Gardens' Best Vinyl of 2023), Fossilized bamboo, GeoWood and GeoCore waterproof cores, laminate collections, and CALI Decking for outdoor. Eco-certified, pet- and kid-tough, and forgiving to install.
- Longboards, Icons, Legends, Trestles and High Tide LVP collections
- Fossilized bamboo, up to twice the density of many hardwoods
