Should the accessories match the faucet exactly?
They should match or intentionally coordinate. The easiest path is one finish for the faucet, shower trim, towel bars, hooks and the drain. Mixing is fine if it is deliberate, a brass faucet with matte-black hooks, but three finishes usually reads as unplanned.
Can grab bars be added later?
Yes, if there is solid blocking behind the tile. We install blocking during any bath remodel exactly where a future bar might go, so it is a screw-in job later with no demo. Designer bars from Ginger and Amerock look like towel bars, not hospital equipment.
Are heated towel racks worth it?
In a New England winter, yes, a warm towel, and more importantly a way to actually dry a towel in a humid bathroom. Hardwired Amba units run a few cents a day on a timer.
